A horseback safari provides the ideal way to explore the Nile up close, see a traditional Ugandan village and view the fantastic panarama from the hills overlooking the Nile River valley. The landscape is spectacular, you will be blown away by the beauty of the area around the Source of the River Nile.
We offer both short (2hr, 3hr) safaris and longer overnight and multiday horse safaris. For our shorter horse safaris no riding experience is neccessary.
All of our horseback safaris are accompanied by two or more guides. Riding groups have the opportunity to temporarily separate at certain points on the safari allowing more experienced riders to ride at a more advanced pace and those not so confident to stay within their comfort zone.
We run short safaris 7 days a week at 10am in the morning and 2pm in the afternoon. Bookings are essential as we have limited horses and guides. Our overnight horse trekking safaris are run on demand.
We have a range of safe, calm and well schooled horses to suit any level of rider experience.
For those on Overland/Safari tours or doing a volunteer project in Uganda we can cater for groups of up to 10 at once. Most weekends we also run training for those interested in equestrian disciplines such as show jumping, cross country and dressage.
We are located opposite Bujagali Falls on the Kampala (West) side of the Nile, just ten minutes drive out of Jinja town centre and an hour and a quarter from Kampala. See our location map.

We are members of the Jinja Adventure Safety Association whose goal is to improve safety by having members monitor each others safety standards and continuing to improve all aspects of safe operation while running adventure activities.
